Matt Callen’s HyperVRE | An Honest Review

June 24th, 2008

So - having trawled through the web looking for *real* information on AdSense and PPC revenue generation - I stumbled upon Matt Callen’s HyperVRE. First off - I balked at the vast marketing blurb - I really hate this stuff. In 99% of cases, it sure isn’t a crock of gold at the end of the rainbow…

But I was drawn in - The pedigree of the Callen name helped - and the fact that HyperVRE is free to download and use as a basic version. Sure - you have to upgrade to Gold (and pay the ferryman his due) for it to be a real solid tool in organic, SEO friendly domain creation - but free (as in beer) is always worth a look…

Straight to the point - I haven’t made any money yet - but I am just starting to evaluate the tool. And you know what ? It’s a pretty fine idea. What it allows you to do is automate the time-consuming elements of domain creation - it takes away the need to manually code parts of each domain. It’s template driven - so you choose / create a template, and either use the HyperVRE software to find content (in the form of articles on the web) - or add in your own content.

This is where the software comes into its own - using *real* content.

Let me put this simply - if you rip random content from the web, you’re going to produce a lower quailty product. You might fall foul of the (mythic - or mythical…?) GoogleGods duplicate content penalities, and this method is really only for the generation of PPC traffic domains.

Where you really win is by :

Creating your own templates.

Creating your own content.

Finding your own RSS feeds.

Then you have an automation system for the generation of high-quality, SEO friendly domains.

Quite simply - if you want to make *real* money online from PPC like AdSense, then you need this.

Pop over to HyperVRE now to download your free version and try it out…

The Electronic Frontier Foundation | RSS

June 20th, 2008

Another addition to our RSS feeds here @ SpectralWorkshop :

The EFF Feed

You’ll notice that we’re using quite a few RSS feeds from other domains on this site - and there is a discussion to be had about the morality and validity of this practice. The SpectralWorkshop use is very much about disseminating important information - in the spirit of web 3.0 (The Semantic Web) and not about scraping content. That said, if you’re the feed publisher and don’t like what we’re doing, just drop us a line : admin [at] spectralworkshop [dot] com

- and we’ll be happy to take the feed down…

The EFF Feed is here, because this organisation is on the forefront of the battle for electronic freedom - in a hyperverse that is becoming increasingly locked down.

Free Thought | Free Speech | Free Action : Here’s to the revolution…

Realtime Google Analytics

June 18th, 2008

Like many other people, I had internalised the popular myth that Google Analytics (A genius tool for those of you new to it) only provided stats on a 24-hour delay. I had become used to settling into looking at the data for my domains in the morning with a cup of GoodMornin’Amerika. A few moments ago while eagerly looking at the promising data on the latest project - the SpectralWorkshop Proxy - I discovered that data is available in real time…! Simply select today’s date in the calendar area in the top right - and there you go - realtime instant data fix…! Realtime Google Analytics…! - And purely because it’s making me happy right now - a little screenshot of the 1000 person a day stats for the brand spanking new SpectralWorkshop Proxy… Onwards…!
